Na2SO4 is a white crystalline solid at room temperature. It is soluble in water. Its melting point is 884 ̊C (1623.2 ̊F), boiling point 1429 ̊C (2604.2 ̊F), density 2.66 g/cm3. Na2SO4 was previously used as laundry detergent. It's also an important material in glass industry.

Example Reactions:
• Na2O + SO3 = Na2SO4
• H2SO4 + 2NaOH = 2H2O + Na2SO4
• BaCl2 + Na2SO4 = BaSO4 + 2NaCl
• CuSO4 + 2NaOH = Cu(OH)2 + Na2SO4
• Na2SO4 + CaCl2 = CaSO4 + 2NaCl
• H2SO4 + 2NaNO2 = 2HNO2 + Na2SO4
• Na2CO3 + H2SO4 = Na2SO4 + H2CO3
• Na2O2 + H2SO4 = Na2SO4 + H2O2
• Na2CO3 + CuSO4 = Na2SO4 + CuCO3
• Na2CO3 + H2SO4 = Na2SO4 + CO2 + H2O
